Religion and Administration

The Equation between Religion and Administration.

The positive secularism must lead to positive and healthy relationship between religion and the administration for the betterment of citizen's life.

India is a very diverse country. This diversity is also true in case of religion. India has almost all religions of the world. Religion is a matter of individual faith. Every religion is a set of belief and faith. Every religion has its own God. Every religious person worship his/her God. All these persons think that this God is responsible for their pain, misery and happiness. So, They follow their respective religion' set of belief and faith. They think if they follow these norms, they will get happiness, otherwise they have to face pain and misery. So, They afraid of their God. Almost all the people in India follow atleast any one God. Around 90 percent of people in India are theist. Means 90 percent of people follow atleast any one religion's worship norms.
But, this percentage is very less when it comes to  the following of the administrative directions, guidelines, notices issued by the government. You may be surprised thinking that what is the link between following the religion and administration. Keep patience, there is a  very strong bond between religion and administration. You have noticed that when a government official announced to maintain a queue in any office or in following traffic rules, people don't care too much. The traffic police have to make challan to make people abide by traffic rules and same the traffic police have to impose fine for not wearing helmet. But, when it comes to following long queues for worship at a holy religious place, people follow the instructions silently and peacefully. What it means? It means, administration by religion. Yes, religion provides administration. You may have witnessed that lakhs of devotees are silently maintaining long queues for hours. How, this is possible. This is possible by administration by religion. This is one equation between religion and administration.
But, if these people have to maintain a normal queue in any public offices like tehsil, post office, Banks etc. these same people start complaining.  Why it is so?
It is so because these people are neither worship administration not afraid of it. So, if each religion start preaching about following administrative guidelines, same silent queues can be seen in government offices as well which will help in better management and efficiency of services delivery. This is how every religion can help in providing better administration to our citizens. This is the positive and healthy relationship between religion and administration. People will obey their religious preacher unquestionably due to their set of belief. So, this faith and belief can be very well utilised for the betterment of the administration. This is the positive equation between religion and administration. I am not saying that citizens should not questions the government, in fact, in a democracy they must questions the elected government. I am just saying that when it comes to maintaining discipline, cooperating with our government to provide better administration to us, then we must follow as we follow our religion.
The another equation of religion is that sometimes it creates problem for administration. It is a negative equation between religion and administration. The example of this equation is that you definitely may have hard the news of some religions opposing the dress code in educational institutions and creating the problem for the administration.
So, the all religious preacher need to understand this. They must preach the positive equation which benefits the administration and our citizens.
The every religious preacher  has the responsibility of not only their own religious followers but also the responsibility of the whole society in which their followers are living. The government must ensure that it's official take into confidence the local religious gurus also. The government must issue a certificate based on some criteria in larger public intrest for religious preachers so that religious unity pave the way for better administration at the same time maintaining the religious freedom. The religious freedom is not absolute and need to see it in a larger perspective. The government definitely can manage all the religions in the positive way in larger public intrest for maintaining unity and integrity of the country as India is a secular country. The Indian secularism is different from the western secularism where they keep religion and politics seperate. But, India's secularism is a positive secularism where government equally promotes all religions. So this positive secularism must lead to positive and healthy relationship between religion and the administration for the betterment of citizen's life.
